Tacoma JBL Package the real waiting game. FP P&T Package JBL.

I ordered a TRD Sport AC with the Premium & Tech package almost three weeks ago. (Comes without the JBL or Sunroof on AC). The dealer told me that Toyota has not even "accepted" the order yet because they are not building that particular configuration for a while. Unknown exactly when so I just wait. I have searched far and wide and can't find a single Sport AC with the P/T package so maybe he's telling the truth.

The JBL sounds very nice has a small rattle that I am sure you could just stuff a towel and get rid of the noise. Yes it's $700 extra but look how much it would cost to put a custom system back there. A hell of a lot more if you want it to still look nice. The only difference in the premium & techs is jbl and no jbl. Both packages still come with heated seats, sunroof, park assistance, side monitor, climate control, Color matched bumper and I'm not sure what else.

I have the premium minus the
heated seats, sunroof, climate, etc...the only thing I would really want would be the sunroof...

Well heres my 2 cents, go with the JBL system if thats good enough for you, for most people it is. It sounded decent enough in my 2nd Gen 2011 DCSB 4X4 Sport, the stock JBL sub is a paper cone 6.5" woofer that did its job for what it was. I opted for no JBL and getting a custom set up for my '16 this week with the tint..

Lose storage behind the seat? Can you be more specific about that? I just had to special order my trd OR DC because I wanted the JBL as well. They told me they had the same truck coming in this week without the JBL. Told me 8 to 10 weeks.

JBL is worth the money. I love it! check out this thread: http://www.jbl.com/content?ContentID=toyota-tacoma-us It explains the figuration, 440 watt amp and 8" Sub are placed in same compartment together.
