Question for anyone who has one of the new 2016 Tacomas ... How do you rate it over say the previous version you had ( if you have a taco before ) How do you like the new Engine and specifically the Manual transmission ( if you have it) .
I have been trying to find some good photos of the Engine compartment but cant really tell if they moved the oil filter back under the engine or did they keep it up on top for easy access like in the other models ? any other pros and Cons ? I have a 2014 off road model and really love it..im just wondering how the new ones compare ?

See my signature for my Tacoma pedigree. I like it better than my 2nd gen, less than my first gen, and my pregen was an old beat up dog so it is lowest on the list. My 2nd Gen just felt very cheap in comparison to this 16. I can't compare motors since this is my first v6 although there is way more get up and go than the 2.7. Manual shifts way smoother than my second gen.
