Everybody, there are already threads on this. Go get the TSB bearing replacement for free from the dealership. It works for some, not for others. If the TSB does not fix it, another member got the dealer to do the ecgs bushing install at cost of bushing. Or take it upon yourself to do so. People around here have the tool to do the swap, and will gladly send it to you, as long as you will pass it on to another person who needs it when you're done. End of thread.

I have a pretty strong vibration when slowing to a stop as downshifting occurs. Feels like intense tire vibration, but only as I'm braking to a stop. Barely over 100 miles on my new truck, no lift yet.

But would they need the specialty tools or can they handle it if I walk in with the new bearing and say I need an aftermarket needle bearing installed? Would the dealer or a shop be able to handle it or should I also buy the tools they are selling?
