I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD with only 10,000 highway miles on it. Ever since I purchased it, new, it has pulled to the left on almost every road I drive it on. The dealership has rotated the tires and aligned it. It helps a little bit for a little while but then it is right back to pulling left - and it's very noticeable. Going back to dealership tomorrow. What can I ask them to look at or do that they have not done?

You say it did it since new - then why did you buy it? Did it do it on the test drive, or did it develop soon after you bought it?

    Developed shortly after purchase.

    Turn to the right, then.

Just kidding; that sucks. Have you noticed this in other cars? When I drive in the left lane, my truck wants to go left because of the crown in the road. The opposite is true for the right lane as well.

I know you said they did an alignment. Maybe the caster is at the edge of the spec and making your truck more sensitive to these things?

    Sorry, just throwing out ideas.

Post the alignment result sheet so we can take a look.

Swap left and right tires to see if the pulling disappears or moves to the opposite side. Note this is different from the normal tire rotation "algorithm".

Are you on stock tires? What tire pressures are you running?

I could be a stuck brake caliper. After you notice it pulling to the left, stop, get out and feel the front wheel. If it feels warm/hot its the caliper. It happened to me.

Ask for a different tech to do the alignment.

Ask when table and computer was last calibrated.

Mine pulled right for 20,000 miles and through 8 attempts at the dealer. Turned out the alignment table hadn't been calibrated in 18 months. Once it had been calibrated and the head shop mechanic himself performed the alignment, mine tracked straight.

Also, try a different shop for an alignment. Different shop equipment might be calibrated differently...
