I have 2010 TRD Sport DCSB. Anyone else noticed this goop oozing from the headliner onto the windshield above the rv mirror? 20160115_183302.jpg
Anyone have any idea what it is?

Kind of like dried syrup. Tacky, but I assume it gets softer on a hot day.

No, original windshield. I thought it might be that tar type gasket material they seat windshields in, but I wouldn't think that stuff would break down like that, even after a day sitting out in the Texas sun.

could have been parked, and a window reflection making a zone on the windshield super hot
and normal window sealant liquefied ?

or you got some odd chemicals on the strip and they are eating away at the sealer

    You make a compelling argument!
No, just the Bluetooth from the HU, but that's tucked under the headliner along the windshield towards the A pillar.
Oakey, with long legs and an earthy undertone.

Mine did this on the passenger side. Noticed it when the inside of the windshield was fogged up and I had a clean line all the way down. Peel back the headliner and you will see where it's coming from. Mine was at the end of the sealing tape strip. Still haven't got around to cleaning it off yet. Was gonna post asking if anyone else has seen it but now I know it's not unique.

now I remember toyota occasionally has tsb for this type of issue, my yaris has a tsb (mine was not affected)

fix was: toyota tech confirm the issue, and then wipes it off with some distillate, then cleans the glass. done.
