2014 Grey Tacoma XSP-X 4x4

hello! Just wondering if it is possible to put a brush guard across the front grill without having to remove the skid plate that came with the truck? I have an XSP-X and it came with the custom plate on the bottom of the grill and I don't want to take it off for the brush guard going on the front. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
