I had been eyeballing a truck, preferably a Tacoma for a good bit, but when this truck came on the lot, I kind of knew it was too good of a deal to pass up. Since I work at a dealer (Ford), we had got it on trade-in.

Lost a little on the corolla trade in, but ultimately been liking it ever since. 2001 with 180k miles, frame was replaced due to recall, and other than the rear drum assys being the worst regarding rust, it ran quite well. Not knowing the history of it or the records, The diff and transfer case fluids were changed to mobile1 full synth, spark plugs swapped, most recently the timing belt, and all my lights on the exterior are all LED. Most of the interior lighting is also LED as well to include swapping the lights in the instrument cluster. Had blue, but was hard to see the needles, so changed to white instead.

Currently had used the forms here for DIY and other product recommendations, and currently have on order the Bilstein 5100 struts and 5125's for the rear. Not really going for a lift YET, as the dealer had included new tires in the deal as well (at dealer cost :D) and they are stock size currently 265/70R16. Once I get some more time and it warms up, I am refinishing the wheels back to an almost stock color using the DupliColor wheel paint and clear coat. Just wanted to share my new toy taco :D

If anyone has any other cool suggestions, I'd love to hear em, mainly looking to have it be both a daily driver with some off roading capabilities, nothing too extreme.
