So I bought my truck in October but it wasn't until today that I finally saw another 16 Tacoma on the road. Just wondering what other people's experiences have been with this

Do you need to know, or care?
I had a '13 LTD and in 3 years of owning it, I saw only 1 other LTD. After having my '16 LTD for about a month, a couple weeks ago I was waiting to pick up my stepson at the transit station, and another '16 LTD pulled up right in front of me and picked somebody up. Surprised me, as TRD's are way more popular.

Anyway, depends where you live I guess. I'm in the city so I see them often enough, it's just a matter of numbers.

I've seen three, but I live kinda rural and the local dealer has only had a handful come in.

It's starting to pick up (no pun intended). Here in central MA, Tacoma's are VERY popular. I must see 20 gen2's a day going back and forth to work. Heck yesterday I counted 4 Taco's in a small lot here at work that only holds 30 vehicles. I know of at least 6 others just in my neighborhood (1 Gen3).
I think it's too early to start seeing lot's of them in my area. They came out in the fall. Many New Englanders wait until spring to buy new vehicles as they don't want to expose them to the salty winter roads right off the bat. I think by summer, I'll be seeing many, many more.

Have not seen any except when I go to my dealer and someone is driving a new on off the lot. Gen 2's are frequent.

Around here though you ain't shit if you don't have a full size with a loud exhaust. THEY are a dime a dozen. My neighbor across the way has two sons , both have full size Rams, My neighbor has a 16 Ford Diesel with fifth wheel.

I saw 3 of them on Cleghorn Ridge Trail on Sunday. That was in the span of around 2 hours. And we saw 3 others on the streets while driving there!

my wife was tired of me pointing them out
