Not sure if anyone can answer this, I have some fox coilovers on the way 2.5 w/ Remote Reservoir for my 2016

    Fox Part# 880-02-376-B w 600lb spring
    Extended Length: 22.21"
    Collapsed Length: 17.58"
    Shock shaft Travel: 4.63"
    Height Adjustment: 0"-2"

Those should give me approx 2" of lift (although some people have been getting less with the icons on the 2016s)
should I use 1 or 2 1/4″ Thick Poly Strut Top Plate Spacers on top of each side to get the full 3" ?

Other than premature wear what is the issue with running spacers + coilovers?
