Was just wondering if anyone was attending this? I'm making arrangements to attend. I know we just had a meet in Gilmer but this looks like a blast.

Plus, the park all too ourselves? So we don't have to deal with that whole Jeep thing.

Should have someone jump on a campsite and use it for TW members. The DFW one I was using was nice but not a lot of parking space.

Will be going. While you don't have to deal with Jeeps, it's not like the park won't be full of FJ Cruisers. They are almost as bad if not worse.

Haha, we were just talking about this... Hopefully the company (and I) can make it. It's on the list for sure.

More than likely not. At least from what I've read on the site about it. They didn't offer a discount to me last year.

Seems like it's pretty much a 3rd party renting out the park and charging their own set price. They still have to require all vehicles have the sticker.

Weird. When I went to the TW meet they didn't even care if we had the Off Highway Sticker.

    :notsure:

You're supposed to have one because it does receive state funding yadda yadda boring talk here.

We were there a week before the meet. They gave one to my buddy who was driving his Porche Macan out there. They wanted to see him wheel it, but he really only took the access roads.

Yeah there was one guy in our group lacking one but when I mentioned it the lady didn't even to seem to know what I was talking about. I have a 2016 one none-the-less so I suppose it doesn't matter.

I am in for the Jambo. Planning to arrive Friday morning but will depend on my lady and getting her out the door

As for the OHV sticker, the park does not care if you have it. If a game warden was to show up its you that gets a ticket not the park.

It's a great event. The reason for the cost is because they have a raffle (last year there was over 40k in the raffle) and also provide dinners on Friday and Saturday.
There's a ton of tacomas, 4 runners and land cruisers as well.
    It's worth the drive out.

If I study half the drive down and a third the drive back with whoever I bring shotgun, it will probably be more studying than I would have ended up doing anyway. Therefor :burnrubber:
