I just bought a used 2011 taco and it has 75k miles on it and I am the second owner. I have been reading many threads on here about performance and maintenance. I really want to make sure my taco is in tip top shape but I am far from a grease monkey, but listen to instructions and DIY videos well. Question is the 90k service that toyota is recommending is about 1400 dollars. What can I do to reduce the cost of this at home and save money in the wallet for upgrades for better performance parts or what not.

What services were they recommending? Or do you want people here to track down the 90k service schedule on their own?

    stuff
Someone must have crapped in Sheepish's Wheaties.... Here you go

If you can follow those instructions, with the right tools, it's not too bad. And if you do decide to have it done, I would find a respected independent shop rather than the dealer. $1400 for that stuff is blasphemy.

    Welcome to TW!!

Is the 30, 60, and 90k services all the same?

If U R at all handy - have some tools and can read you save $1100 - $1200 if not ask your friends for recommendations for a good honest mechanic - unless U R rich and don't care a Stealership is a Stealership.
