So perhaps this is an amateurish question, but is there a difference between the T|X TRD and T|X Baja editions of the Tacoma, specifically for the 2013 models? I'm looking at one of each that I've found for sale and am simply curious because a simple Google search reveals little difference between the two. Furthermore, how might the T|X edition differ from the TRD Off-Road edition (2015/2016 models, specifically)?

    Thanks in advance!

The Baja is better equipped for off-road use. It shares the same suspension as the Pro. I have the TlX and it is more like the TRD off-road. Go with the Baja and you wont be sorry if it is going to be used in the dirt.

But is the "standard" T|X still pretty much a Baja edition, or nah? And we're potentially looking into getting a 2016 TRD OR...

The TX is the TRD Off Road with black side steps, exhaust tip, and beadlock-looking wheels.

The TX Pro is the TX plus the TRD exhaust.

The TX Baja is the TX Pro plus upgraded front and rear shocks and a lift up front.
