so i was wondering if it would a stupid decision to trade in my tacoma for a newer model?
i still owe like 4 years of payment because i barely bought last year. im just not feeling the truck anymore, i want a tacoma with a trd trim and those beauitiful alloy rims.

tacoma still has like 50,000 miles on it

Not sure what your financial situation is or what you have already invested into your Tacoma but... Have you considered putting some $ into your truck and making it more suited to your liking. You will be hard pressed to find a 6 year old truck with such low miles.
Still oweing money on it will hurt you if you trade it in and a dealer will not likely give you what you owe putting you way upside down in the new truck.
Rims, Tires, Seat Covers, Upgraded Stereo, or even a Lift. Any, all, or a combination of these upgrades can bring some of that new mojo back to your ride.
The Alloy Rims are all over the classifieds like craigslist, ebay, and here on TW. They can be bought for cheap. I even have a set sitting in my garage I am going to sell. Where do you live maybe I can make you a sweet deal on them... 2015 TRD OFF ROAD rims only 10k miles on them.

    Good Luck w/ Your Decision.

I would not do it if that was me. I'd finish paying off the 2010.

I kind of understand OP, I had fun in my prerunner and had a pretty good MT build on it, but then I moved away from the desert and into more mountainous terrain and wanted a 4x4. Traded in my 2011 prerunner TRD OR for a 2015 TRD Sport (wanted the bigger axle and color matched stuff, and the 50+hp scoop). I didnt go upside down on the trade in, but didnt get much since I stilled owed on it, but I was getting pretty tired of the prerunner since I couldnt go on as many trails as I wanted to
