    ahh ok, yeah all they could find was the 2.25" in/out, I did not want it flexed open to fit to
    only create another path of resistance which is what they would do, might not cause any
    issues but no use making something fit when the correct part is out there.

    Product No. is: 942545 2.5 in. center for both in & out.



    The deck plate mod is the gaping hole I cut into the front of the
    existing air intake box.

    Looks like this.... Lots of us with 2nd gens did it.

    right on i think i am gonna do a muff swap to either borla pro xs or a Magna but i will hold off on the deckplate as I am waiting for snorkels to come out and I feel like that deck plate mod will just force hot air in from the engine. glad you like the mods though and it sounds like what you wanted!

    I thought that too about the hot air but with that big ass grille, there has to be plenty
    of fresh cool air coming in there & I left the side fender pipe in place so it comes in there as well.

    just a pic off the net of a stock filter box with the deck-plate mod... the big hole

    I'm going to get the stock put back on, after going back and forth to work, I've
    decided the extra growl just isn't for me, guess I've changed :D it does sound
    good, just not my thing. Putting it on craigslist today so someone will get a good
    deal on a new flow-master super 44.
