Its a decent gig, most of the time its day shifts. Just during standby (production support) we have 24hr support. But we get to work a lot of different places(canada last year, corvette plant later this year).

I'd be down for another meet wherever. School started again though so my availability during the week is non-existent. I even have a Friday evening lab this semester!

@Palehorse1 I was just over there yesterday! We finished up my dual battery system. He said you were headed over there today. We were talking about me possibly coming back over Friday morning.

Dropping the truck off late this evening with the new coil spring compressor. Need to get the wheels assembled as the fenders get fitted and painted on Monday and as soon as that shop is done I plan to head straight to Freeburg for some big hammer time so we can mount the 35's.

They use really inexpensive, but excellent quality food as their loss leader. Used to stop there with the Porsche crowd after running the river road.

Dropped the truck off late last night during the snow storm. I can be there Friday, but not until lunch time as I have dialysis until about eleven.

@Palehorse1 I learned yesterday that I do not have a lab this Friday, so I could head over there in the afternoon.

Ya that food is really cheap and make up for it in alcohol sales. It's for sure a dive bar but really fun to go to. I prefer The Loading Dock in Graffton, IL but not sure how people fell about driving all that way

Bilstein 5100's all around, Old man emu leaf springs, Volant cold air, body armor rear bumper with swing arm, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack 255/70R18, Rockstar rims, EBC slotted rotors and green stuff brake pads, roll top bed cover.
20160120_132651.jpg So I finally found a shell! But you all can see the problem. Anyone know a place around here for good paint? Looking for something in the $200 area. It also need a tiny bit of body work. Gonna pull off the racks and get ready for my Prinsu!

New coils on, truck doesn't look like its searching for pennies anymore.

Having some problems with the mini-Vic and the Totota TIS. I don't know if it's the computer, the software, or the Vic dongle. Back to researching to see if I can find the solution.

What's up guys? Been a lurker for 5 years, LOL! Sprung for 5100s and OME 885 coils and finished install last night. Unfortunately I got greedy and set the 5100s to .85 and I have 4" lift when I set it down off the jack stands....which sucks...because I am not ready to by UCAs and I only sprung for 5100s and AAL in the rear so I reckon I'll be front high on top of unable to align...

That's the report from the Edwardsville area. I am going back to beating my head on the wall. Peace! :frusty:

Glad you stopped lurking and joined in on the fun. Start scrounging through the buy/sell/trade forums here and hopefully you can find a good deal on some second hand UCA's.

As to the mini VCI issue. I'm pretty sure that I have no idea how to make this thing work without some serious tinkering and studying time being invested. With that said, I got impatient and ordered an Autel TS401 MaxiTPMS tool so I can bypass all the nonsense.

EDIT: If any of you want to try your hand with the Mini-VCI let me know and I'll save it for you. You will need a windows computer - preferably a laptop - to plug one end of it into when getting it to work with your truck.

Dude you need to take the 5100s back down to 0" ASAP.

Our trucks are NOT designed for that much lift. In fact running at 3-3.5" is bad for them.

You are putting way way more stress on your tie rods, ball joints and cvs. And I bet it rides like shit because you literally probably have .5" of down travel.

Please change it. Or your gonna be replacing a lot more then just your UCAs soon

Hey guys. I'm also a lurker that just installed 885s and 5100s. Mine are set down at 0" like a sane person, though. New wheels & tires and a TRD Pro grill go on this weekend.

Man, I wish I could get the same answer out of two guys on this forum. I believe you Blackdawg, and it hasn't been driven anyway. Just finished the rear lift. not level anyway so I need it down. Just wish there was and easy way to compress those springs...damn they are a workout!
