Mine don't rub on a sport with 265/70/17.

I love these tires and can't say enough about them. I ordered some new ones recently, and maybe it is my imagination, but they don't look as aggressive as the last ones I ordered in 2013. I'll post a pic of the two when I get a chance.

They seemed a little louder on the highway than the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors I had on my truck when I bought it, but I don't think they are loud compared to other A/T tires I've heard. It could also just be that I'm used to them. I don't even hear the Grabbers anymore.

Nice yeah I don't plan on doing too much off roading but when I do I plan on slick and thick mud and some ice/snow when I travel up north

We have em on our work truck. They are great in mud n snow and not too noisy on highway. On the other hand they really like to pick gravel up and periodically launch it into your fenders and rocker panels

Probably why ther are caller grabbers haha but the shop in my town has the BF Goodrich AT's 2 for only a few bucks more but tire racks grabbers are a lot cheaper than the BF

This is absolutely true. If I am in a place with deep rocks the tires just kind of dig down instead of moving forward. So be aware of it. I've never seen tires pick up so many rocks!

Wanna get these on a 2017 sr5, the at2 265,75r16 that is. Everyone says no rub but should I buy 5 and swap my spare tire out to? Will it still fit under the truck?

Any recent opinions on these? I should have asked a while ago, as I just ordered the stock 265/65/17 for my 2016 Sport. Amazon had them for $167 delivered. Just wondering what to expect.

The AT2 is slowly being phased out, the ATX that is replacing it is leaps and bounds ahead in quality and durability.

I just bought a set ATX (285/75/16) and so far really impressed with the quiet ride and mud capablity of the tires. I got into some muddy rutted trails over the weekend and they really did well with good self cleaning and traction and I’ve owned Toyo OC AT3’s, Cooper AT’s and BFG KO’s and these are on par or better than the Toyo’s or BFG’s and definitely better than the Coopers.

11 years and this thread is still alive. Impressive.

I ran the AT/2 on my lifted WRX. Then I put that suspension/tire combo on my wife's 2002 Impreza. Still running them. When I got my 1992 Toyota pickup it had Mudstars on it. Wanted the A/T2 but no dice, the A/TX was the only tire available. So I got some 33" (285/....-16) A/TX tires for it. Jump forward three weeks to yesterday and I got some skinny A/TX tires mounted on my Tacoma. Quiet thus far.
