Now that you can finally get the best all around configuration , the DCLB , in the TRD Offroad , it makes sense to go with the Offroad IMO , even if you do want to add the skewp hood later

Wonder what the percent of OR owners that bought it for the image. In other words to say they have a locker and crawl control even though they admit will never use it. You hear all the OR purchases and I bet atleast half (seems to be the going rate with market research on the wranglers) aren't actually using it. The resale value argument is silly and just not true.

If you're talking about all Tacomas sold there's probably a high percentage of buyers that really don't know the differences between models and likely buy one off the lot that is currently there that suits their budget or colour preference etc , thats likely less of a factor on a Tacoma enthusiast's site

    Fair enough, hatchet is buried.

Either TRD model is a good choice.

    • Check out the supercharged custom Tacoma in stock at Cochrane Toyota. I know they had another, milder built 2015, but also supercharged, in an Access cab, with a manual transmission in stock as well. With the exchange rate, these might be a good buy, and I know the dealership is motivated to move them.
