Greetings from Boulder County, Colorado! My name is Paul and I'm new to "Tacoma World". I've owned a stock 1998 Tacoma, ext cab for about 6 or 7 years. It's been a kick ass truck! I'm currently hunting for a topper for my Taco in order to transform my truck into a "Bug Out Vehicle". I like the Leer 122 model, it's a "high rise" which is attractive to me because it has more height compared to the standard camper shell, as I will be living in the back of my truck and need as much space as possible. I also like the ARE "high rise" that has an actual door at the tail gate for easy access, it looks pretty cool.

With that being said, I went and got an estimate for a brand new Leer 122 and it was pretty expensive. I was hoping that some of you folks may have already purchased your own "high rise" toppers and could give some insight on which models/brands you prefer and why. Maybe one of you have one that your looking to sell? Keep in mind that my truck is white and I would really prefer a white topper as well.

    Any input would be appreciated!
    Thanx, TacoPaul!
