Put a big snapon tool box on mine, no issues. Amongst a bunch of other random crap.

Firewood, gravel, home appliances, metal scrap, metal, lumber, tools... Welders... You can beat the crap outta them. I got mine used from another member who had it for a few years, and so far everything I've thrown at it, it's taken it all in stride.

Another nice feature of the OEM mat is the textured surface on the under side. Keeps moisture from getting trapped under there.

I've tried but haven't been able to damage it yet. Maybe a gallon of sulfuric acid or a short block at 100 mph from 100 feet will ruin the thing. Stand by while I build a catapult.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I had a $75 gift card for Amazon so I ordered it through them. Cost me $34 after that, tax included. Not bad. Looking forward to putting it to use.

I bought mine in 2006 for my 2007 and have used it in my 2010 and 2015 and plan on using in my 3rd gen when the time comes.
I always have a shell on so that probably extends the life.

Worth it. I got my salesman to throw it in. My only complaint is the mud stains.

You should do it. Very sturdy and fits perfect. Look for sales and coupons. Should be able to get it shipped for around $90. I ordered mine from a local dealer's on line parts department and picked it up. $10 off for liking them on Facebook. Came to $84.

After reading these endorsements I also picked one up today. Great addition and exactly what I was looking for!

Too poor to list anything interesting.
My mat is durable enough for me. I've had firewood back there on occasion and it works well to protect the bed. I wish I had purchased it sooner.

Just remember to remove it occasionally to clean out all the stuff that can get trapped underneath.

Second this. Mine was about $25 or so and it is 3/4 thick and very heavy duty. Get at a local feed mill or horse supply store. Will be more if you go to a major retail barn store like wilco.

I had been kicking around getting a bed mat for a bit, this thread finally pushed me to get one. I am impressed. My dog will be happy about it too. Well worth $100.
