I used to go to BJ a lot. They where one of first to have craft beers and you could take a 6er home only at that time.
Eversince the discontinued that huge potato ive stoped going there except to have dessert. Stll xant beat an oreo pozookie....not sure if thats spelled right. But yhea that!

 

Pushing for this really hard. Was going to go Glamis for Pres. Weekend. The last few times ive gone weather has been perfect for tents and its not crowded at all. That place can be a zoo!
But maybe now just Anaza.

Thank you for the response. I have been to Anza Borrego, but it was my first time, NOT my truck, and had NO CLUE what\where my friend was doing. I just went along for the ride and that trip was what inspired me to get the bucket I have now! I just have vague memories of "Fish Creek Wash" and that's about it? That trip was about 4yrs ago now, maybe just over?! Anyways, more to the point, me personally, am a newb to offroading! If there is no road I am like an ant that "lost scent of the trail"!

BTW, all I do know and remember, I had ENJOYED that trip VERY MUCH SO and it was my first time offloading... But again, it was NOT my truck\vehicle!

I was to cautious, paying attention who im following, I check truck gear in front of me then follow. it was my first time wheelin at cleghorn and definitely give me idea how to tackle those deep bumps.

In other news, can't wait till the next meet. I'll hopefully be getting this brace off first week of February, so I'm hoping to make it to Anza at least to camp, drink and have a good time. Not a whole lot of wheeling for me the next few months

 

Sliders for sure!I challenged myself and my truck and what a adrenalin rush!Bryan(@TXpro4X4)Ham(@4x4Banger)and myself got off of the main trail and took some of the off shoots cause a lot of the other TW members were ahead of us and done with the trail for the most part!Those area's had deep holes(ruts)and big rocks and the pictures did no justice!Wish myself and other TW members could of got pics of angle's of the way the trails were!So awesome everyone helping me out and Bryan(@TXpro4X4)Ham(@4x4Banger)and myself conquered some sketchy shit!

Real spit!Thanks brotha!What a blast and adrenaline rush some of those off shoot area's were!When Bryan(@TXpro4X4)radio died and he called me on my cell phone he was like Ron please tell me that your not on that specific area of the offshoot!I told him i had to call him back cause i was in a scetchy area!When he came back on foot to the trail he was like Ron bro it's going to get worse!LOL!It all worked out in the end!

Ron! @ODNAREM I am happy you got out ok! I would lie if I said I wasn't worried for the both of us. Sorry I couldn't follow you down the last trail or pull you out of it. Every path I took to get away from that trail myself was looking like I wasn't going to be able to avoid it. Luckily The Goat did its thing and climbed out of the last trail that was possibly to get me out. Bryan @TXpro4X4 thanks for being calm and helping Big Ron and I! And Ron I feel like our trucks became the Gruesome Twosome yesterday! Thanks again to everyone that helped!
