Cleaned the air flow sensor and the throttle body today. Now sitting in my truck listening to it complain. Guess the CPU is relearning

Oh shit! Now my truck won't even accelerate. Doesn't want to go. Can't even accelerate out of first gear

Don't know the part number to replace it and can't find a suitable after market skid.
(it's the skid directly in front of the transfer case)

 

Yes I painted it myself. Had him beadblast it and I cleaned it with brake cleaner. Hung it from a bungi cord and hit with semi gloss. When doing this mod, once you remove the plug receiver from the old bracket, mount it to the new one first. Then mount the bracket to the hitch frame. There's other mods but I didn't want to drill through the bumper or sacrifice one of my plate lights. This worked great for me. Thanks.

 

I handled it carefully. Just pulled it out, sprayed it and replaced. The MAF.

 

Yeah I did have to stand in the rain to change the plugs

 

I am unfamiliar with what type of MAF these use, but most are a "heated wire" type and if you hit them with a solvent it can give you some troubles. I worked in the auto service industry for years and our throttle body cleaning service rarely included the MAF
