Anyone else notice that there are more than one version of the parking mechanism?

    I have seen two different versions of parking break reaction plate mechanisms.

    One version:

    Now I think I understand why I could never adjust the parking brake to lock up both wheels!!! :)

    Edit:
    This is ebulang's brakes from a 2005. I will assume this is the original reaction lever. I look forward to see what design they provide me at Toyota.

    Now that I look at it closer, it does look as though the left side is different from the right side. Oh well, I guess my mystery and misery will continue.
