    Hi everyone,

I've recently found Tim Neil at Heavy Metal Off Road (http://www.heavymetaloff-road.com/) and contacted him. I did some searching prior to that, and didn't find anyone on TW talking about his work. So I'd like to be the first to give him a review.

I contacted him through email and he was very quick to reply, saying that he can definitely produce sliders for my DCLB, and weld it on. He sent me a photo of a set he was working on and promptly offered me some options. The next day, he calls me and we set a time for me to drive up (his shop is in Livermore, CA) so that he can take measurements. We confirm that he'll be making 99.5" sliders (rather than the typical 96" for DCLB) with a square main tube and kickout. He also stated multiple times that he can literally make these sliders any way that I want them. We then set a day the following week for him to weld on the sliders.

Today was the day and I drove up at 9:30AM and he tells me he hasn't painted the sliders yet, because he wanted to confirm the angles before welding on the supports (5 supports by the way, rather than the usual four). I had a lift installed since he measured it, so wanting to confirm the measurements was meticulous of him. You can tell this guy takes pride in his work. The whole job ends up taking most of the day, but he was cool enough to let me hang around while finishing it up.

So overall, the sliders look awesome and feel extremely sturdy. See photos below.

tl;dr: Tim at Heavy Metal Off Road can make any type of sliders you want, paint them, and weld them on you. You can drop your truck off, or hang out while he works. He also has a dog you can play fetch with while you wait.
