    You hit the nail on the head. Ended up doing that and when the weather warms up sometime I will peel off and try that method.

    I don't mean to be a jerk, it looks pretty good. But to my eye that color isn't even close to matching.

    Dupli color match makes the white your looking for. I used black plasti dip on my chrome grills and love it.

    But seriously. Sand it down and paint it with duplicolor, then clear coat it!

    the only difference is the clear coat. the truck has a lot more shine than the grill. the color is spot on.

    My local Line-X dealer told me that if I brought in the flares from my 2006 he'd do them in black high gloss for about $300 since I bought my lights and light bar from them.
    UNFORTUNATELY, the local body shop that contracts with the Toyota dealer to do their work quoted me $400 just to take the flares off and put them back on!
    $700 for Line-X flares is just a tad steep for my taste, since I can get Bushwhackers for $750 installed.
