I need help with my insurance claim...

So i did not have rental car coverage at the time of the wreck. Do you think that i could get my insurance company to cover the cost since i have to take it back to one of their "approved vendors"?

FWI i now have rental car coverage, after i found out i didnt have the coverage i flipped out and got the coverage added.

 

No. If you didn't have rental coverage on the date of the accident, they can't pay for a rental. The computer system won't even let them. They would have to "force" the coverage on your policy for the date of the accident and they only way to do that is if there was an error on the company's part (didn't explain rental to you when you purchased the policy, or you requested it but they failed to add it, something like that).
