    The deed to my new home has recorded and I'm officially a new first time home owner! I've actually had the keys conditionally since last Wednesday but now it's a go and the house is now mine. The home-buying process took about a month and half and it was an emotional rollercoaster! We purchased a 2247 sq ft home for $141k. Not too bad, considering it was first built in 2007 and sold for $361k at the time. My wife and I with some help from the family have been painting all weekend. We just have the staircase left and some touch-up to do and then we can finally move in and get the xmas lights up!!
