Will a Leer 100R cap built for the 2nd gen regular cab fit the 2nd gen access cab?

If not, how can I tell the difference between the two when buying used off of Craigslist?

    Thanks.

*Edit: for instance is this cap made for a AC/DC or a RC? It's sitting on the DC but there seems to be a gap. Or Am I just knitt picking and it fits?

I know on first gens, the regular cab has a cab that goes straight up towards the bed. And the Extra cab is a little curved cab by the bed. (That's the best I can explain it, sorry)
Dono about 2nd gens though. May be the same.

Thanks. I understand the difference between the two. I'm just struggling to point out the difference. If that makes sense.

That's screwy looking, like it was made for a different cab configuration or a different model of truck. I have a 100R on my DC, and it follows the lines of the rear of the cab, there's even a groove to fit the third brake light housing. Looks seamless.

^ above pictured cap is for a regular cab. Easiest thing to do is look for the manufactures sticker or serial number plate, that usually has a cab code or similar. Regular cab caps for second generation Tacomas are hard to find, given 10% of the market was regular cabs and 90% access and double cabs. Access and double cabs have the same curvature (forward lean).

I am looking for a regular cab cap for my truck.
