I had the dealer request allocation for my truck. Bought through Costco buying service, $750 over invoice. Took two months from deposit to delivery.

I've never heard of this Costco buying service... now I need to research it, thanks for the tip. (c:

What do you think of your manual? Are you bothered that you lost the "select terrain" stuff that's part of the automatic? I also see that the automatic is promising 3 MPG greater than manual which seems pretty sweet. I think I prefer to trust their new advanced technology in the transmission... it also seems like you're then over-paying for the Off-Road if all you're really getting is the locking diff.

I want nothing to do with MTS/CC and I certainly don't feel like I'm missing out. I've never had any trouble controlling the throttle myself and i don't expect that to change anytime soon. Also, the MT comes with the benefit of being $1500 cheaper than the equivalent slushbox. I wouldn't say you're overpaying for the Off Road by opting for the manual unless you're cool with the I-4 Access Cab. The TRD Sport carries the exact same pricetag as the OR after all and that's the only other way to get a stick.

I guess I'm back into uncertainty about the auto vs manual, I wish we had more of them available to test drive around here so I could get a feel for how they drive.
