I am looking at a new full replacement bumper, collected a deer a few months back, I am trying to decide between the Fab Four pre runner and the demello Baja, also thought about the aluminum pelfrey but wonder if I would hit another deer how it would hold up? If anyone has an insight on pros and cons of each would love to hear them. My concern with the Fab Four is it shows 185#s compared to 120 or 65 in the aluminum one. Thanks

I'm wondering about the weight and strength of the aluminum ones also.

^That is a nice shot and I haven't seen that angle on that bumper. Looks nice and sturdy!

Have you considered SOS Concepts? Great guy and an awesome fabricator.

I wouldn't even consider an aluminum bumper if you're gonna be anywhere besides the grocery store and mall.

I run shit over with my steel bumper. If it was aluminum it was be beaten and dented to shit

I have bounced my aluminum bumper into trees, rocks and everything in between, takes it like a champ and weighs a fraction of a steel replacement. The aluminum skids on the other hand are a bit overmatched by my trail selection.

Really? My friends is beat to shit. It's on a jeep so he probably doesn't know what he's doing.... But even when I called CBI the guy talked me out of aluminum because of the thin-ness

I would never buy a aluminum bumper for truck protection.

I rolled bed armour on my CBI and its held up great to everything. I've pushed over small trees and shrubs and whatnot

Mine is 1/4" plate so it's not exactly thin. Even when I'm winching it doesn't move. I beat my truck pretty hard and have zero regrets with going with an aluminum bumper. I'm not saying it's for everybody or the best option for a replacement bumper but I'm happy with mine.
