So, my factory headunit irritates me, and occasionally cuts off. I had talked to a dealership about it while in warranty and they jerked me around until my warranty had expired. I finally have a little money and noticed while perusing Amazon that some decent touchscreen double DIN units are cheaper than I thought.

I'm pretty good with my hands, but have no car stereo experience. Is replacing my head unit (and wiring it to retain my steering wheel controls) as plug and play and straight forward as I'm hoping? I'm thinking that with a little research here and maybe some youtube videos I can do it myself, but I thought I'd ask before I start actually ordering the unit, wiring harness, and dash kit.

I know that's a vague question and everyone's experience/skill level is different... any input is appreciated.

That's what I was hoping to hear, I've just never pulled the head unit out. I'm sure I'll have no issue then, thank you.
