Have both in powell. Sorta. The dewalt is the big one and we have two small mills. Both are great. Don't think either is a bad choice.

after basically picking up my truck with a ryobi 1/4 impact drill (placed the impact on a floor jack to drill holes in the frame for sliders 6 holes plus 2 for transfer skid) needless to say i was pretty impressed with that i now have a set of ryobi 18v.

My vote is for Milwaukee. I may be bias thought because I live there and know people who research and develop the tools.

I am leaning towards Milwaukee. Overkill for me currently but I have a large interest in older vehicles as well as being able to sufficiently become my own "warranty" in the future. After reading/viewing multiple reviews across various stores, forums, and videos, it is apparent that even fanboys of various brands agree it is a wise investment for anyone and perfect for any job. Assuming this tool allows me to finish my project, I will still be well under the cost of any mechanic doing it and I have little doubt this tool won't last me well beyond the 5 year warranty it boast.

@BabyTaco have you purchased a PCV oil/air separator yet? Your situation has got me worried about preventative maintenance. I am thinking of getting one.

No, I have not. Been so busy researching this. If the valve seals does not fix my issue I will for sure make it a first priority...well its on the top of the list regardless.

Soon to be! I wanted one for a long time but couldn't justify the cost nor do I like to ride a $500+ bike anywhere around a college town. Lots of good and bad reviews but it will do what I need it to. I live a few miles from the university and I am tired of trying to find parking in the winter and walking really does suck. I ride my rode bike in the summer/fall sometimes but I am cautious just because of the theft.

Hahah no. I thought they were pretty stupid then I kept seeing more and more of them pass me on trails while snow shoeing and a few guys ride em around campus all year.

Hell I've been riding a bike everyday come rain snow or shine to school. So much better. Parking is a bitch here. But I got mine for freefidy. :D

Single speed too. Saves gas too

Check CL before you blow 500 bucks on a bike

Sub'd just because I enjoy looking at your old pics of your truck and dog haha. I hope you get your truck fixed!

I vote for a V6 swap, just sayin' but I know it's expensive and a lot of work

Same reason you put big wide tires on a truck. You can run at low PSI and "float" on sand and snow. Most days a regular mountain bike would be perfect here but through the winter there is to much snow and ice on the ground. Most people suck at shoveling sidewalks. Apparently they are an absolute blast to ride too. At $200...hard to beat it outside of one used even cheaper or free.

Yeah, I like to ride the bike and it doesn't really add any time to my commute since it takes a few minutes to find parking. Just way to much theft at UW to leave a bike even in daylight. The bike is $200...don't think I would spend $500+ on a bike that I am not even sure I would like. Ill dip my toes with a cheaper, heavier one that can be upgraded cheaply. Then if it's something I really like, I can invest in a nicer one after college.

. I think most people subscribed are subscribed for the dog . I would like the v6 but it would be the same amount of work as any other engine swap and there is nothing special about the v6. I would rather put in a engine that has tons of after market support.

I love the V6 in mine, would love to be able to afford a supercharger for it one day but that takes money I don't have haha. Just a strong, proven engine IMO and worth owning, but I totally understand wanting one with a lot of after market support.

Yeah I would LS swap it rather than 1GR. You could go to a T56 trans and might still be able to keep your Tcase.
