stock cat convrtr & O2 w/ headers?

My dream vehicle isn't a Beamer, it's my 06' Tacoma! I've dumped the stock intake for the AFE cold air intake. I've also added the URD short shifter on the 6 speed manual trans. I want full length headers, do some welding and keep the factory cat converters, extend the O2 sensors, and still pass emissions. Anyone done this?

 

What a great site. Thanks for the welcome! I see a lot of good info being exchanged here. One mod I'm absolutely doing is the 4x4 Lo rear locker mod. I want to be able to lock the rear dif beyond 4x4 Lo.

With the header thing, I don't see the point of slapping on the DT short zoomie headers. It's worth redoing the exhaust system to allow full length headers IF emissions are good. I'll look through the threads for info.
