2001 GMC 4x4 extended cab (four doors) ~ Beautiful truck, I would drive it anywhere, anytime. Runs and drives perfectly. Over 4K invested in the last 12 months, new lift / pro installed (6" Rough Country -- Non Torsion Drop), new 35" tires - Bridgestone Rev 2's, regular maintenance and updates -- including brakes and new sweet sounding muffler / exhaust, bearings, gaskets, and seals. Exceptional truck. Adult driven and owned, highway miles. Roll-up bed cover, spray-in bed liner, deep/dark professional window tint, Husky liner mats. Great running and looking truck. Life's changing -- would like to sell ASAP, my loss, your gain. No tire kickers, spammers, or scammers. Priced to sell, $6495, cash talks.2001 GMC.jpg

High, according to statistics. 5.3 with 224k. That's why the price is so low. Not likely to find a better cared for 2001. Thanks for asking

** Got to thinking, ??Mileage?? could have meant, mpg... haha, I've been averaging 13-15...

Damn! If you were closer, or close at all, I'd buy that truck right now. I'm looking for a truck for my Boy and that's just the ticket. AND the budget.

    Nice looking truck man

I'm guessing probably in Lebanon, Oregon.
    :notsure:

    GLWS, OP.

FWIW, 224k isn't exorbitant for the 5.3's, especially for highway. Used to have one come in when I worked at a shop that belonged to a salesman that had nearly 500k on it.

Shipping really isn't all that expensive.

Ah, shipping would break his/my budget. Plus, I personally, would never spend that kind of money without being able to actually see the Vehicle first.

But, I don't want to take over the thread. Once again, great looking truck OP. GLWS!

I work in a Chevy service dept. and I can vouch for the original 5.3. Excellent, reliable engine. They hurt reliability in 2007 when they added the multi-displacement system, but even those engines can go high miles. Nice truck.

Thanks ~ for the vote of confidence! So frustrated with folks on Craigslist :brianr:

This is the second 2001 GMC I've owned (6.0 and this 5.3) super happy and confident with the engine / drivetrain and the level of care the first owner and I have taken, really hadn't planned to sell it... it's the last piece of a divorce... PLUS, MY TACO IS SOOO FUN..!
