I have had my nonJBL truck for about a month now and now I am looking to upgrade the . Does anybody have thoughts or experience in ordering the jbl equipment including the rear sub cover from the dealer. I see some great sound alternatives posted, but I really want it to look stock ( maybe aftermarket guts, but still with factory jbl sub cover? Is this even possible? I haven't spoken with a dealer and you seem pretty smart, so I figured I'd ask.

I belive its the whole system that needs to be changed out for the JBL including the head unit. I ordered with the JBL but looking at the SE region it seems the $2300 Entune without JBL is far more available than the full JBL Option. Most truck buyers are probably not opting for the JBL upgrade for $700 more. There are a few in the SE Region but not enough to have choices regarding the rest of the truck.

You will likely do better to go aftermarket and keep your head unit
