I haven't used this brand but it seems OK. Why not give it a try and report back here.

LOL air filter companies are still claiming more HP and TQ... sure... but only when your foot is on the floor.

If you want to at least stick with a name brand.....go with the AEM Dry-Flow that's also about 1/2 the cost of the AFE. For the 4.0 the AFE was about $80 and the AEM was about $40 on AutoAnything. "Bob is the oil guy" website says the AEM flows a little better than stock but filtered a little better than the K&N and AFE, for what that's worth. For me it's not about performance, but the convenience of never buying another filter.

This is why I bought an aFE pro dry. Maybe would have bought an AEM if I'd known about them at the time. Looks like a good filter. Did BITOG website include any testing or evidence to back up that claim?

Can't tell you on that one. I just did a search on the site using key word "AEM". Honestly though....I didn't over-think it much. I've never had an issue with aftermarket filters, so it wasn't hard for me to pull the trigger.

I looked up this AEM filter for a 2013 2.7l 4 banger Taco and they don't make them, only for the 4.0l six

also I made a mistake the filter I listed above from FLEABAY fits the 1995-2004 4 cylinder the air box must be different for the later model 4 cylinder engine?

Yeah....I can't find an AEM part# for the gen-II 2.7 either. And doing some cross-references with AFE part#'s shows that the gen-I 2.4/2.7 have a different part# than the gen-II 2.7. Looks like you'll have to go with something else....AFE, K&N, etc.

They already have....it's called the AEM Dryflow....like the one I bought. K&N actually makes the filter but markets it under the AEM brand. Not sure if they'll ever brand there own....or make one for the gen-II 2.7. :notsure:

Junk Junk Junk. Whats the big deal about buying a paper air filter that actually works. Your NOT going to get horsepower gains if it were that easy the factory would have done it.

I buy 4 oem ones at a time cause I fuck them up all the time... I'm hoping to reduce that now with a snorkel but I just have to remember not to splash the puddles to high lol
