We'll see, I've got too many hobbies. Im not too interested in modding the shit out of my truck, I just wanted to fit some knobbier tires under it. I found you guys by searching Tacoma World for a safe way to lift up the front.

Stick with the same offset and dont go much larger in diameter and the bearings wont care either way, but they do wear out, I have done many of them several with stock sized wheels on stock size tires, and its usually the driver's side BTW.
Welcome to TW, are you a diver?

    Welcome man!

That's how it always starts my friend. But you've made your first critical error, you joined TW. That's about like quitting drinking but you hang out in a bar every day...the math just won't add up for you.

Hi C.J., The Bilstein 5100s are a great and simple way to raise the front, IMO.
I didn't "need" to raise my truck at all... as I only went up 1" in tire size from stock (now: 265/75-16) and they don't rub without a lift. We raised the front shocks 0.85" on the Billies.
It was more to improve the ride and maybe take the bumps faster off road. My stock Bilstein (yellow) shocks were leaking (we discovered), so maybe why my wife felt a little nauseous (and I thought it was just my driving)!
To raise the back (or level the back), I had Ride Rite air bags added along with the rear 5100s.
SpeedFreek (Jason) here did all the work and he is an ACE mechanic for Tacomas! If you are around Vista, he is very near Hwy. 78... in home garage business and factory trained by Toyota.
He also replaced my front left hub/bearing with one from BamaToy. It was my first bearing fail in three Tacomas, and nearly 300,000 combined miles!
    David (in San Marcos)

Yes I'm a SCUBA MSDT, dont really get out much anymore as I dont teach anymore and have been doing so much other stuff, but I really need to get my ass back in the water, I love underwater hunting (Lobster, Halibut or whatever tastes good!), I use a modified 3 band 38 special speargun, or a lobster bag and lightning hand for bugs.
I can probably freedive for about 30 seconds, lol. But hit me up if you wanna go play in the water, I dont have anybody to go with anymore.
I dont have a boat and just shoredive but a boat would sure be awesome if you ever need a huckleberry!
And if you have Tacoma related questions or need any work or welding that you dont do yourself I can help ya out as well or if you just need recommendations on what to do, etc..

Welcome to TW, lots of good people here in this thread.

Funny, over my life, I have lived all around Carlsbad (Del Mar, RSF, Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos) but never in Carlsbad.

I was pretty disappointed with the video, it's extremely tame, I was hoping for more carelessness.
