Better to ask what I have not done.
Look at the price your paying and the difference between the capacity. if it fits where you want it get the biggest you can. Or split the difference and get the 41

Going to modify it so it opens up on the long side instead of the short side. Will work much better for my needs.

Sitting sideways in area where my passenger back seat used to be, it'll open towards the rear window so it can be accessed easily from inside and outside of the truck. As it is made, it would be accessible from outside, but not easily from inside.

That and all the models have the same footprint, just different heights.

Havent found any... but I will share my findings and progress once I git'r dun. So far I dont see any reason why it would be very difficult. A little cutting, add hinges and boom! At least in theory.

@.45 JHP I'd be more than happy to do an advance test of the discount code and early shipment of the fridge to get the R&D done so I can get a write up done. :D

I have a question about the insulation cover. Why would you need one for this cooler? What I really mean is, does it really help the cooler given it not being very thick? Or is it more for protection from scratches and bruises for when it is in rough areas such as the back of your trucks?

Yes to both. To a certain extent, it keeps the fridge run more efficiently with the additional insulation, which (in theory) it should slightly reduce power draw. Also has the added benefit of being a protective cover.

Just ordered the blue sea combo with the USB ports and 12v socket. I think I am gonna install it in the back of the center console. Thanks for the info on the 10ga wire part. Now I can order it too.

How many do you have? I'd just need a 12v one.
