Who all is holding out to buy a new RTT from CVT?

Anyone know anything in addition to what's listed below. Supposed to be released early February.

How do people like CVT's ladders compared to Tepui's?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the Tepui ruggedized had #1 and #3...?

Not trying to start a feud between the two companies, or the owners of their products, but would like input from those who have owned products from either company.

Also, unsure of #4. Says the new fabric is heavier by about 40grams, but goes on to say 100grams heavier then their (CVT) standard models, and 60 grams heavier then Tepui's ruggedized...?

Thanks @Cascadia Tents for the info.

I guess I don't understand the need for thicker fabrics on a tent that stays up out of the rocks and dirt, and has a mattress on the floor. Seems like a waste of weight and money.

This is the first I've heard of the Summits coming in tan color though.

I suppose if you wanted an especially durable/warm tent they would work well. CVT does a good job of thinking their stuff through and they maintain pretty good QC.

That green color though...not on my rig.

What color are the CVT covers? Are they all black with white lettering?

This is only a list of comparisons from our standard tent to the ruggedized. This is not our Summit series specs. We will have a thread for the summit series and all of the upgrades coming soon.

Saw the diamond plate bottom today, looks good for unique mounting situations.
