    ....I am curious about what kind of regular towing you do with your 5800 lb trailer.Having owned 2006 and 2012 Tacomas with the 4.0. I pulled a trailer that weighed a little under 3400 lbs and they towed ok on flat to moderate inclines but they were both working to do so.I tow a 5700-6000 lb trailer with a 2013 CM Tundra with 5.7 and have thousands of miles on truck doing so.The truck pulls great but yes it is working and working hard going up some of the inclines we have encountered in Central Texas,New Mexico and Arizona.I cant imagine the Tacomas pulling the 5700lb + trailer great.Then factor in the braking part.I had to make a panic stop with the Tundra on I 35 in Central Texas,had I been in one of the Tacomas it would have been one bad scene.IMHO I cant see A Tacoma as a great truck to tow with when towing over 3500 lbs on a regular basis.
