Intro and first post to this Forum.

We, daughter and I, just inherited a 2001, XtraCab TRD Tacoma from my Dad. He moved here from Maui. We paid for the shipping from the island.

The truck has the front leveling kit, Venom chip, headers, K&N intake system and a Centerforce clutch. With 190k miles, we are planning on having the timing belt maintenance done, which should fix the oil leak. I also plan on replacing the soft rear springs and adding a canopy. The truck will be hers when she turns 16 later this year.

Anyway, I have been researching all the threads so that I can become familiar with Tacomas.
