    Did mine yesterday, i suggest using a dremel to make the cut. I used a small cut off wheel on mine and took a little bit off at a time. This way you will not have any gaps and it will fit snug. Good luck with install.

    Only thing i found troubling was that you remove the end caps of the crowel you will be cutting. I think i may go and get some weather stripping, the stuff that has sticky tape on one side and foam on the other and place it on both ends as a precaution of water entering. Everything that i have read up on removing the end caps, no one has had a problem with it. I guess just piece of mind.

    When you take off the front crowel you will see a factory molded strip with some small foam strip down it. Do Not trim past or through that. As far as i can see that is being used to divert water coming into the area.
