So I recently bought my first Tacoma (Quicksand TRD Sport Tacoma) after having a JKU for a few years so bear with me as I learn all the mods/do's and dont's with Tacos. I think mine is the Double Cab (four large doors) model.

I've done a bit of reading but I'm not confident in my choices thus far, here's where you guys come in!

I'm wanting to do a 3" lift with 285/70R17's. I like the Billy 5100's + OME 885 coils w/LR UCA's. will this give me the amount of lift I need to get the 285's in there? If so, what kind of rubbing can I expect? I'm expecting to use the SR8 wheels from Stealth Custom Series (Backspacing is 4.30" and offset is -10mm).

Obviously the tires are larger and likely to be heavier than factory, what kind of power loss am I going to experience?

    Thanks!
