Had two low ball offers on my CL ad for my beater '93 4X2, 278,000 miles. One today was even lower than what the dealer would give me. I thought I'd see if I could sell my old truck and double my money from what the dealer offered.

its worth whatever someone will pay for it. to me that truck is worth about a thousand bucks if it runs, drives, passes inspection and the heater works

Good heater, A/C made it to Wyoming two years ago and across Nevada a year ago towing a trailer with a small Kubota tractor. I've had two neighbors tell me it's worth a grand and was nicer than one had gotten two years for his beater, so I put it in CL for $1100. The bear running across my path made a big hurt to the truck. Extra wheels/tires, near new studded pair too.

I figured it is in fair condition. Rear main engine seal leaks, the front was fixed but did not take. Seat is torn from use, front damage from the bear as the grill won't fit, former body repair from a deer running into the drivers front fender and spinning down the side. Gypsy body man repair to the passenger side rear area of the bed. Passenger side mirror needs to be replaced, clear coat is faded. I'd be happy with a grand.
