While I can't speak for 2nd Gen. Versions of 'The Twins' I can certainly speak about how much happier I am in regards to having upgraded from an 05 Colorado to my '15 Taco. The bed extender.... Having that extra space that adds extra depth (it's not constrained by the Tunneaux Cover.... So useful!!

I used to pull this trailer with my Chevy and you could tell I was pushing the capabilities of said vehicle, @110km/hr you just felt like going faster was 'Uncomfortable'... Not anymore!!! While I still know the trailer is there (I've pulled it with a V8 and I almost forgot I was towing) things felt smoother and handled better ;)

Lovin it... So many reasons to be happy I'm now driving a Toyota! 'The Seven Year Wait' was totally worth it. I know I appreciate it more for having driven an inferior vehicle first!

Larger displacement engine with more torque plus the Tacoma 5spd (vs Colorado 4spd) makes a huge difference.
