    K&N intake, airaid throttle spacer
I keep getting an engine light and when checked it comes up as code P1605Knock Control CPU Malfunction
Can anybody tell me more about this. Most tell me its a knock sensor but it looks like that should be a seperate code for each knock sensor since this engine has 2 of them.

Oh boy, that's a bad one. The flow chart goes like this:

DTC P1605; Engine Control Computer Malfunction (for knock control)
    Trouble Area - ECM

Are there any other codes present?

    NO? Replace ECM
YES? Go to relevant DTC chart

So, if there are no other codes along with the P1605, you need a new ECM (computer)

I hated to even post the answer to his problem, because it was an expensive one to fix.

I'd look for a used one first, then go to the dealer second.
