Do they match the DRLs? They seem to match well from the pictures.

They match them pretty good. I think they are whiter than them, but I notice when I turn on the headlights, the drls seem to dim which make them not as white as when the headlights are off. The fog lights with the LEDs have a hint of blue to them, probably closer to 5500k.

Ditto to your question. I posed a similar one, pointing to the adjustment mechanism (up/down screw adjustment) could not be tight enough...but after seeing the videos with the bouncing, now I am not sure.

I have two sets of 4500Ks. Mine have the bounce during daily driving, but not as noticeable as the videos posted here.

If you read higher up in the thread, you'll note that they're on order and need to be manufactured first.

Loving my new HID's, but I need to do a proper ballast mount next. Can you guys post pics of how you mounted your ballasts? I need ideas since I'll be running 3 ballast on each side.

    Thanks,

What is the easiestway to get to all the bulbs? How about the fogs? They seem like they are all hard to get to?!?

    Is there an install video?

    TIA

Its not that hard.. everything is within reach once you open the hood. The hardest part of this upgrade is properly securing the ballast.

Too bad it's not a Morimoto kit like this thread is discussing. :)

I originally used something like http://www.amazon.com/Simpson-HRS416Z-Galvanized-12-Gauge-16-Inch/dp/B003YHEEDU/ that I had laying around. However, my first kit went bad and had to be replaced. 2nd time around I used some spare aluminum strips I had (similar to: http://www.amazon.com/M-D-Building-Products-60731-48-Inch/dp/B000I1AOYI/). Bent them & drilled holes as needed. Went pretty well, I'll have to post pics later. I'm actually thinking about buying a new strip and redoing it a bit to make the install cleaner.

See post 751 and 682. Pictures with some mounting places.
I am going to move the driver's side ballast next to the relay using aluminum strips or another bracket..

djavionyx (post 751) has more balls than me, I didn't want to drill any new holes in the truck just yet! With some longer pieces of aluminum I could make the mounts much better, there may also be better places to use with that larger mount. At the time, I used what I had. When I went to look for examples it made me want to redo the mounts all together....

Relay and ballast for driver side are mounted on the battery tie down. Going to re-do this to make the mount larger and hang the relay off the left side.
    20160201_182301.jpg

The LED high beam adapter locked into place nicely with just a zip tie.
    20160201_182403.jpg

Top & bottom screws go into holes that were already present. Bottom one was threaded already, the top just uses some washers and a wing nut.
    20160201_182511.jpg

Same as above on the opposite side. This is just to the left of the radiator.

I ordered the 6500k w/50w ballasts and the LED fogs, so we'll see if I have any of the vibration/shaking issues everyone else is having, hopefully not.

Double sided tape has worked nicely for me. I have everything tucked up out of the way and protected.

Hey no offense man, because it seems like you're supporting a decent product, but I think most of us appreciate other options/opinions at this point.
