My project for the last couple weeks.

    3" Lift, 33" Maxxis Big Horns
    Side plates were lazered out by a friend at work. 3/8" thick. The filler pieces are 3/8x 1 1/4". I used 1/2" and 3/8" cold roll steel in the holes and then plug welded them. Faced everything and painted it. Took me about 2 weeks just working on it in my spare time.

    Didnt notice that. Always good to have a locking pin though. Meant moreso the latch that is normally on a clevis hook.

    Sorry, but what the hell is it? Looks real good and agree it needs a lock.

    Doesnt really need a lock, just giving him a little hard time.

    Its a hook for a recovery strap. Quicker than using a dring on his end. Just slip it over and pull. They work really well since the pull is on the centerline of the truck versus one side or the other and you dont have to worry about a clevis latch or dring rusting shut.
