You know, I've never watched more than an hour or two of this B-J nonsense before. Unfortunately, due to health, I'm stuck in bed at the moment so WTF? I cannot believe though what some people pay for stuff? This FJ looks cool on the surface but the body is completely bastardized and BTW pretty badly warped. And, it sold for $103,500.

Great show!,fun to watch, if just only from a historical automotive perspective. They have everything, from unrestored "barn finds" to fresh SEMA builds, - and everything in between. They even have antique CrisCraft boats and old bikes to newer custom machines. The only Toyota I seen was a super rare late seventies Toyota 3000 sports car, kind of like a 280z, but only 200 were imported from Japan. Top seller was a 2015 Porshe 918 Spyder "Hypercar" with two "Tesla" type motors, front and back and a 600 HP mid engine power plant, -WOW!, it went for a cool 1.6 million. The show makes me a nostalgic for my old Matchbox car collection, my many boxes of Revelle model kits I had as a kid, and especially my 1970 Dodge Charger R/T that I sold for $400.00 when I was seventeen.

I prefer "mecum"auction on velocity. Any one ever seen dan mecum's low mile 70 ls6 chevelle with 32 miles. I think he actually auctioned it off.

It's just sad that it is all about "getting on TV" with B-J. There were some absolute steals on vehicles that did NOT make the TV show. I wanted to bid just from home here on 2 vehicles but when I saw a [nice but] completely FAKE '66 442 sell "on TV" for $55K, I gave up on the REAL '66 442 convertible thinking it might approach 6 figures. Well, this actual 442 sold "in the tent" for only $28,600.

The other was an adorable Model A pickup, just absolutely mint, that I again gave up on because the super-modified antiques were going "on TV" for outrageous amounts of money. This actual model A went "in the tent" for $27,600.

I actually contacted B-J and asked them to forward my contact info to the buyers to see if either wanted to make a quick $3K profit on the truck or $5K on the 442 but haven't heard a peep and probably won't . . . :(
