You asked earlier about the Cs and Es. I would check the weight difference. The Cs will be better on gas. One pound of tire weight equals about eight pounds of cargo weight, so it adds up fast. I wish I had Cs on my truck.

10-4 to that. Got a good informative response from don at DT little while ago

    All these are 265/75/16

    KO2 E 53.6 lbs, 15/32 tread depth, 31.6 diameter

    Duratrac E 51.0 lbs, 18/32 and 31.7

DT in C. 44 lbs, same tread and dia

ST maxx in E. 54 lbs, cant decipher tread, 32.01 dia

I am thinking 44 lbs is significant enough to consider, 7 lbs lighter in c than e in the duratrac

I had 285/70/17-D Duratracs on my FJ and absolutely loved them so much so that I bought 265/70/17-C Duratracs for the Tacoma.

IF I decide to move up a tire size to 285/70/17 on the Tacoma, I'll more than likely go with Duratracs again although I've been eyeballing the Nitto Trail Grapplers and Cooper STT Pro's.
