My brother inlaw bought the mate to that last year in PEI. Nice truck. I like the SWB better but that is just me. The long box seems miles long compared to my FJ. But way more practical.

LMAO - We did a summer trip to NB (17hrs straight - food and gas stops) but while there I had to travel the confederation bridge and ride a ferry as I never had been on one before, so we took a day and traveled across, then a bit around and then ferried back over to NS to drive back to Moncton, NB.

Spent 3 days out there. LOVED every moment of it, even the intense fog we drove into heading to Saint John, NB.

Glad you enjoyed it. PEI is like a hidden treasure for sure. I love the island. The bridge can be pretty exciting now and then depending on weather. The Wood Island Ferry is as close as you can get to the old way on and off the island as I was growing up. Lining up for the ferry back in the day was just part of the fun.

It is certainly a more laid back world here than you would be used to in Ontario. Come back anytime. We will leave a light on for ya.

One thing in common, my '13 came from Sunrise Toyota. Bought in Pitt at West Coast, but they traded it for another vehicle sent to Sunrise. Plus, I get the pleasure of paying an extra 10 cents a litre more than you.

Ya, that sucks for ME! Once in a while I'll drive into Hatzic for the lower price, but I guess I'm just lazy. Once in a while I'll look at the prices in other parts of Canada, and it pisses me off that the West Coast pays the stupid prices that we do! Today in Pitt on the way home, which that time of day is always the lowest, was 1.02 per litre, I'm sure again was highest in North America....again. On Sunday was 0.99 and the cost of oil dropped today.

Post up your gas prices if you see this post, would be interested in seeing what people are paying across this great country!
